Southern Region, BSA is pleased to announce and offer a Seabadge Leadership Training Course (SB-35-FL-2018) from the premiere location of the Florida National High Adventure Sea Base, beginning Friday, January 26, 2018 and ending Sunday, January 28, 2018.  If your location delivers temperatures below the mid-60s this time of year, this Seabadge course is your “Siren’s Song”.  However have no doubt, the Florida Keys will deliver an opposing discovery from those of the ancient mariner that followed the enchanting melody of the Siren’s voice.  This Florida Straits island destination is yours for only $170.00, so warm-up and tap the registration link to get the ice off your windshield and from under your tires.  Sunny south Florida and the Florida Keys welcome your arrival.

Regardless of your advisory scouting program, Seabadge offers tools and resources that are specific to Sea Scouts, but worthy of Venturing and Boy Scouting programs too.  If you are an existing Sea Scout advisor, we encourage you to complete this training so you can deliver the promised program to your Sea Scouting youth.  If you are a Venturing or Boy Scout advisor, you are welcome to attend so you can apply what you learned but more importantly, maybe Seabadge will enchant you too experience Sea Scouts first hand.  Sea Scouts is not just for “Coasters” … “Inlanders” travel down to the Florida Keys to see and hear firsthand.

Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise specified, all requests for activity registration refunds need to be in writing and received in the council service center at least fourteen (14) days prior to the activity. A twenty percent (20%) service charge will be assessed, unless the registration fees are being transferred to another activity in the same calendar year. Requests for refunds received less than fourteen (14) days prior to the activity will be considered for the following reasons only: * Personal illness of the registered participant * A family emergency preventing attendance The same 20% service charge will apply. If unable to notify us within the 14-day period, these types of refund requests will be granted an extra seven (7) days following the completion of the activity. Again they must be made in writing and submitted to the council service center. After that time the activity accounts will be closed and no more refunds will be given.
